"What Lies Beneath"
What Lies Beneath reflects on the unseen dimensions of survival and the stories carried beneath what the eye can see. A fluid, dreamlike palette of indigo, violet, soft pink, and luminous undertones moves through the composition, emerging, dissolving, and resurfacing across its layered texture.
Created in support of the fight against breast cancer, the work speaks to resilience, transformation, and the persistence of life through adversity. It honors the strength found in moving through a battle that can leave its mark on both body and spirit, while recognizing that those marks do not diminish the beauty of what remains.
Scarred, perhaps. Changed, certainly. Still here. Still beautiful.
What lies beneath the scars is an extraordinary story of survival.
